Poster Guidelines

You will be producing an A1 full colour poster.
All files must be in PORTRAIT orientation.
Download a Indesign file or Powerpoint with correct setup.

Poster contents:

Layout

Posters will be printed to A1 size

Posters must be portrait

The crest and panel must stay where they are

Students can use/put other images where they choose (with the exception of in the banner)

Posters do not have to include a 'sponsor' box

Panel student details

Title of research

Your name

Your contact email address

Your supervisor's name

Contents

Short sentence introducing your research

Images should be 300dpi resolution for printing

Design, contents and layout is up to you, so be creative!

Please note: "The University of Sydney" must be in Times new Roman. The coat of arms and the University's name must not be separated and used independently. Digital files can be scaled up or down proportionally but the size relationship between the coat of arms and the name must remain prominent and proportionally consistent.

Poster Submission

Please export the file as PDF (Press Quality and 3mm Bleeding) and email submission to carmen@arch.usyd.edu.au

Poster Printing and Laminating

For printing A1 and A4 size, email the output to Carmen Lau. We will print your A1 poster and 30 A4 colour copies to handout at the Research Expo.
The Faculty will pay for the mounting and lamination costs. Your posters will be put onto 5mm foam core board and laminated.

Poster Help

Formatting advice and helpful comments can be provided if an electronic file is sent to carmen@arch.usyd.edu.au prior to the 30th of September. Please don't send large files and only in pdf format! - Thanks.
