Exhibition Calendar for 2005

We are pleased to announce the following exhibitions for 2005.
The gallery is part of the Art Workshop complex within the University of Sydney's
Faculty of Architecture.
The gallery hosts exhibitions across a wide variety of contemporary visual arts practices from
individuals and groups, as well as community projects and curated exhibitions.

The exhibition calendar is selected by a committee from submitted proposals,
and is finalised in July of each year.

This exhibition reflects on the notion of drawing rather than simply being a collection of drawings.

The Grey Voice is part of the Sydney Art on Paper 2005 Paper Trail.

Harry Seidler - Shaping Space

This exhibition presents sketches from the drawing board of Harry Seidler. These are the products of a working architect which, while not intentionally artworks in themselves, have a beautiful fluidity of graphic form.

In the Kellyville and New Suburbs photographic series, Glover documents an archetype of Australian suburban architecture.

Fugitive Ground

Nineteen different landscape photographs spanning 25 years in eastern Australia have been connected to form one continuous picture in this twelve metre digital work.

A series of visceral works that hold captive liquids in various states - water condensing in acrylic boxes, blood, oil and air pumped through clear plastic arteries: steam escaping through resinous membranes.
