The International Journal of Design Computing is a refereed journal that is published on the World Wide Web and archived by the University of Sydney. The objective of the journal is to promote research and technology transfer in design computing through the publication of interactive, multimedia journal articles within the general topic of design computing. The use of multimedia in the articles is to improve the understanding of the article through simulations and interactivity with the design computing material being presented. For this reason, the journal does not have an equivalent printed version. The journal articles are peer reviewed. Articles will be available immediately after acceptance, eliminating the large lead time for publication. Each volume is available as a CD. The IJDC is a participant of the National Library of Australia's PANDORA (Preserving and Accessing Networked Documentary Resources of Australia) project. PANDORA's aim is to implement procedures for managing the archiving and provision of long term access to online publications. |
